How’s your week been? We’ve had a busy one but still I found joy in so many little details. I hope you did too!



Highlights of the week
Spring equinox of course! Cheerio winter months!!!
spotting our first butterflies of 2025
daffodils (I prefer the whiter ones)
more sunshine every morning and several lunches on our patio
celebrating St Patrick’s by drawing Irish landscapes on Monday with the club and guest Charlotte Hamilton
the very last of the crocuses
bright green hellebores
making more art on canvas inspired by the Greek jars I saw at the British Museum (can’t wait to share it all once it’s done, or would you like to see some of the process..??)

GAZETTE (free): This month’s club gazette where you can read all our club news and more! This month there’s creative prompts, a poem by John Clare and lots of Jane Austen references. Go check it out!!!
Tuesday 25th March 7pm (paid) : Co-Creating Session, we will continue what we started last month, as one session wasn’t enough. De-cluttering our studios and reorganising paper work, creating our little memory books or adding significant pieces of paper to our walls. This will be a chatty session throughout. Sign up in the club chat.
Club Video (paid): My latest Oroblanco Pith Sketchbook Tour (Sep-Dec 2024) and how I painted the cover with a Scottish landscape. In this video I share thoughts on Matisse, I share the benefits of drawing sessions, as well as my techniques and processes one page at a time.

Next month in the Time Foragers’ Club, we will have a still life focus so get your props ready. I’m reading lots of cool books on the subject and feeling very informed!
