I have been admiring your weekly visual journals for a couple months now! I am inspired to start my own! Honestly, I could stare at your visual journals for ages. I would buy a year book of your journal, I like it that much!
I love it... I was just thinking how out of the habit of photographing everything I have gotten- I've missed a number of things this year that way, but it was because I have been trying to actually see things rather than be observing through my phone camera that I started doing it! Perhaps I just need to separate the camera from the phone again 😉
Meanwhile I still have my tree, and I might just draw it tonight while we sit watching TV as a family! I've already watched Die Hard (made my family watch with me 🤣) and enjoyed Red One yesterday, so I might add them to my spread too!
I've been through that as well but inevitably I always come back to photography as a way of appreciating details. Hope you've enjoyed your Christmas season.
This is such a warm and cosy spread. Your visual journal is so inspiring. I have creative blok so I hope your January challenge give me a kick to start sth new. Have a lovely festive season and Merry Christmas 🎄
I would love to join your January plein Air project. I see it's sold out. Please let me know if there are cancellations or if you're taking new registrations 🙏. You've already inspired me to start visual journalling ❤️
I would love to start doing this! Do you have any posts or tips for getting started and the order in which you draw/paint/write? Thank you for sharing your journals and talents with us!
These are all so pretty and cozy, and have me wondering if I can change my habits and start painting in my sketchbook again next year. Thank you for the inspiration!
What a nice memory of the holiday, hoping to get some cozy memories in my journal too.
Mmm, these photos make me feel all warm and cosy. And now I'm considering using my holiday to draw my week... But do I have time? 😋
Do it!! Sounds great!
your visual journals are an inspiration, thank you
You’re more than welcome! They remind me to be thankful for the little treasures in life.

Thanks for sharing the sketchbook tutorial! I never considered leaving the binding ribbons out over the cover; it looks lovely! 💖
