Love your visual journal! Very inspiring and will help me 're-arrange' (rethink!) mine! As I read your post, it felt like you were describing my week! Things to do (cleaning!!!!), wrapping, and baking left to do too! I really am working hard at getting my etegami cards (and haiku poems) done every night or every other night also! Phew! And I am so jealous of your gorgeous hellebores! Happy holiday season to you and yours!
Thanks Jeannine!! Life is certainly busy these days on the run up to Christmas!! All the more reason to slow down to keep a note of it ✨ happy holidays x
Beautiful beautiful! Each week is more beautiful Helen! I strive to do this but I’m failing, it seems to take so much time, and I do get tired a lot because of medications. I think if I did it more, it would get easier and not take so much time. I’ll keep trying. You are so very inspiring!
How about simplifying pages - you don’t need to have complex ones like mine - it could be a simple paragraph and a few words for each day. Maybe one little illustration?
I LOVE this. It’s just so inspiring. That can be my intention for 2025. Such a beautiful practise. Also I love this little women idea. It’s my favourite book and holds such an important place in my heart and I don’t actually own a copy becuase I’ve never liked any of the illustrations. They’ve never captured the story for me. But I could try my OWN illustrations. What a gift you’ve given me. Thank you.
I wish I could be as focused. What an amazing beautiful record you have captured in your weekly journal. Are you carrying on in 2025 with this practice?
I love your writing about your week and the struggle to take the time for your weekly journal. Plus, your pages are wonderful. I think most of us can relate to the struggles of taking time for our art and creativity. Thank you for your inspiration. 🎄

Sounds more doable if I think of it that way, hopefully I can try that! Great suggestion! Thank you!
Beautiful pages! I love your insights and you are inspiring me to get back into it! Happy Holidays!
Oh I do hope you get back into it! It’s such a great way to remember life!
“a great way to remember life” is such an impactful way to describe this. I’m officially doing it and I’m not waiting for 2025 to start!

This is beautiful!! where can I find a journal like this? This is absolutely inspiring me.
You can use any journal or notebook. Just draw what you see and write significant words from your week. The hardest bit is persevering all year.
Absolutely beautiful! I wish I could do this!
I wish I could be as focused. What an amazing beautiful record you have captured in your weekly journal. Are you carrying on in 2025 with this practice?
I hope to Cheryl!! It’s been hard at times but overall a really positive practice.
Congratulations for week 51!
Thanks so much!! It’s been quite a journey!!
Beautiful! I'd love to know what notebooks you recommend for your visual journal with thick enough paper to hold the paint :)
Hey I’ve just posted my recommendations for 2025 for my paid subscribers. It has everything you need to know!
I love your writing about your week and the struggle to take the time for your weekly journal. Plus, your pages are wonderful. I think most of us can relate to the struggles of taking time for our art and creativity. Thank you for your inspiration. 🎄
Thanks Patrice! It’s been worth it! ✨
Excellent! Love the colors, content. What an adventure you share with us each week, thank you! ♥️ x
Thanks so much Susan! My understanding of colour and texture has evolved over the year. 🧡
Just gorgeous! I’m so inspired to start my own. May I ask what sketchbook you use and how well it holds gouache/ water colour?
This is a Royal Talens art creation sketchbook. I’m making a short video on this topic for my paid subscribers in the club.
I guess I should've read down a little further :) Thanks for sharing the name of your notebook.
Very lovely! Which watercolor palette are you using here? ☺️🎨
