I recently made a watercolor notebook using the Peg and Awl videos. It looks like your cover is a different paper so I am curious to see how you added it.

Hi Juliann, the brown is from the sketchbook covers which I dismantled and repurposed. So I stitched one in for the front cover and another at the end for the back cover.

How lovely to be using your own handmade sketchbooks. So personal :0)

Yes it’s really special. I wasn’t sure if I’d maybe have the blank page crystallising fear as it’s extra precious but thankfully I’m just cracking on with playing!!

Does it help that you already have your practices, such as your weekly journal, embedded? Also, if I want to share some of my work for the plein air challenge on here (don't have Insta), is there a preferred way to do that? Cheers.

Probably yes, I’m sure it helps to trust the process of just getting stuck in!

For the plain air challenge, it’s really whatever suits you best. If you feel you’d be interested in sharing some of your plein air sketches as a post on Substack or maybe in Notes, those are options?
