Swatching for the Zoom

Some swatching I did for the zoom on Friday, materials used:

• Prismacolor and Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils

• Caran D’Ache Neocolor II pastels

• Holbein Acrylic-gouache

Of course, everyone can bring along whatever materials they want to work with and feel most comfortable playing with. The idea is to enjoy the photography by drawing and to just have fun!

Sketchbook pages from previous trips to Paris

These are some of my sketchbooks from previous trips to Paris. It is such a glorious place and some would say, especially in the winter. What comes to mind is old buildings and art museums, coffee and chocolate on cafe terraces, pops of yellow daffodils and mimosa bouquets, golden lights.

Last time I was in Paris in the winter was 2 years ago and I sketched these. I was already quite enjoying browns and ochres!
