Highlights of this week:
a Sunday with friends in the countryside, walking through the fields with them and their 14 year old dog Toffee.
a bank holiday Monday (and Tuesday) in the Peak District, hiking Padley Gorge, sketching by the stream and fish&chips takeaway in the park in Bakewell. Mike and I went for a walk while my parents took the kids to the play park. We met a dog walker who told us to look out for a kingfisher so we did and we saw it!
a quieter day with Ezra getting on with little bits and bobs around the house. Felt lovely to clear the decks with him at a very slow pace.
choosing and packing my materials for the trip Paris this weekend was a highlight so I made a little 28mins video which I’ve sent to my paid subscribers. I’m really looking forward to Paris but there is so much to be done before leaving!
a day trip in York with my mama checking out an exhibition called “Monet In York” at the art gallery based on Monet’s Water-Lily Pond (1899, oil on canvas). They have wildflower meadow at the back of the gallery which is delightful. The exhibition will be running til early September.

Have a great weekend xx
I was wondering what art supplies you use. I really enjoy your journal entries and videos. Thank you.
So lovely to read and see. Thank you.
