A beautiful weekend in the Lake District was tough to summarise in such a small space but the drawing of the hills was my attempt. Note: I remembered after writing “Lake Derwent” that there isn’t such a thing, the actual name is “Derwentwater”).
Dandelions in our lawn. We’ve decided to keep our front a British lawn… so I’ve been taking out the dandelions and enjoying the sunshine on my skin. Maybe someday we’ll shift to a wildflower meadow. In the meantime, we will forage for dandelions outside our garden if we need them.
A lovely quote by Christina Rossetti: “There’s no time like spring, when life’s alive in everything.” It’s so true.
