Week 9 of my visual journaling spreads this year
I usually post a process video but this week I didn’t have the energy to sit at my desk so this is all I have. Lots of daffodils though as a friend brought some to me as a get well soon gift. Glad spring is its way.
Naming what I’m thankful for: the daffodils, a warm house to rest in, teas of all sorts to keep my hands warm, blankets to keep me cozy. My family. All 5 of us are currently watching The Hobbit with a fire on. Rain falling against the window panes. Saturdays. I love having them home. Home.
4 years after the world went through a very strange and traumatic time, I’ve caught covid for the first time. My thoughts are with all the folk who’ve suffered in extreme ways the past 4 years. As for me, I’m hoping the worst is over but what remains still is pain in my legs, lack of taste, extreme tiredness, tinnitus and blocked sinuses. I’m also feeling quite low. Missing walking outside and hearing birdsongs. What are you thankful for today?
As a little extra today, if you have time to draw for fun, Beth Spencer has a very fun animal headshot game to share with you which I found lovely!
Have a great weekend x
I know I’m posting late, but wanted to send a warm hello and thank you for sharing your beautiful journal with us. Wishing wellness soon. Hope by now you are. 🙏🏻😌🫶🏻
So sorry to hear what you are going through, I pray that you can get better and that you are able to go outside again and enjoy those bird songs you love 🫶💐
